This year I am going to do things a bit differently. Rather than spend months after the con writing everything up I intend to write up my report on a daily basis and post it to my Livejournal which you can see on the banner below. The Brotherhood Without Banners Awesome Book Raffle Prize Draw Thing
At last year's Worldcon in August 2009 I organised a Charity Book Raffle Prize Draw Thing in aid of Teacher & Writers Collaborative, a children's literacy charity based in New York City. We gave away 18 books and raised USD $180 for TWC. In October 2009 we had a meet up in Belfast, Northern Ireland for the filming of the pilot episode of HBO's "Game of Thrones" where we meet several members of the cast and crew of the show, and I ran a second Charity Book Raffle Prize Draw Thing at which I gave away 8 books and raised USD $288 for TWC. I will be running another Awesome Book Raffle Prize Draw Thing at Worldcon 2010 in Melbourne, Australia and at Octocon in Dublin, Ireland this year so if you are going to be at either of these events then please donate to this very worthy cause. Thank you.
