Good advice - I don't know what the law is in Canada, but in the UK, after you have lived with someone for 6 months you are legally entitled to half of what your partner owns whether you are married or not.  Make sure you get whats yours and I wish you good luck with finding somewhere to live.  You really do deserve better Blue Rose and I am confident you've got what it takes to find the right man for you :grouphug:

A very good point and a very good question.  I always say good morning to the thread when I arrive in the morning and goodnight when I leave.  It is only polite after all.  I think the reason some people do this is just because if they come in, read the thread and leave without saying anything at all some people get grumpy about them not posting.
