This is the last one of these I will be doing for a while so I am just gonna sit back, top the drink up and enjoy it, ahhhh! HEADLINE: Postcard from Warsaw 1
Hi Everyone!! (waves a paw) I am in Warsaw right now, this city is beautiful and wonderful and all sorts of other special things. I saw an English language bookstore yesterday. It has the aSoIaF series, I might have to pick it up. I heard it's decent. I also had steak and Chinese food for the first time in 7 months. Warsaw rules. I go back to my village tomorrow, but for one more day I am surrounded by internet and foreign food. The lovingest panda of all Lightning Lord
Thanks for the postcard LL! Hopefuly the pay makes it a bit better.

I think "trubble" will truly happen for you this time with that pic in the Gen Shat thread about hot boarders. I highly doubt Pebble will miss that as she would posts buried under mountains of spam here ;)
Alright to the best of my knowledge Pebble has NOT seen the picture that was posted in that thread by her hubby and believe me it was a bad one. Only just safe for work I would say, erm, well hopefully anyway. But she has not commented on it here and has not posted in the hot boarders thread so unless someone PM'd her she will remain unaware until reading this review. Some funny comments made by the boarders in that thread include a reply to a Mr G post which read "she is my wife" corrected to read "she [s]is[/s] was my wife". Pebble in my opinion it is time you did something about this husband of yours, this was a step too far. My son refused to get out of the car this morning, so I had to threaten him within an inch of his life and send him into school in tears. The minute I got home I called to make sure he was in class and ok. Now I feel like shit and a horrible mother. Since he has been in school since age 2 he has never done that. Maybe I should have taken him home and found out what the problem was. But he missed yesterday cause his dad had him and with only 4 weeks of school left he cant miss anymore. Anyway I fell like a crappy mom not being able to figure out what was wrong and I am now in tears. I need to work at the school again so I wont worry so much. I would be there and see if there is a problem. Then again it could be that he stayed at his dads this weekend or something. The minute he gets home I am going to sit and talk to him and try to get to the bottom of it. Of course this means a full day of being worried about him and putting myself down for how I handled things this morning. In good news I helped Pheb finish a shadow box project. It looks pretty damn good, I used hot glue to make hte volcano lava and water look real, and we glued real sand on it, so the beach area looks realistic. Of course her red, yellow and green komodo Dragon stands out now. (she used play dough and nothing I could say would change her mind on making a new more realistic one) She was also adament on adding a small rubber frog to put in the tree(alomost the size as the dragon) and fish tank plants. She was proud of herself though and she did everything except I handled the hot glue gun, and helped with the sand.
:grouphug: hope things turned out alright GC. At a recent computer expo (COMDEX), Bill Gates reportedly compared the computer industry with the auto industry and stated, "If GM had kept up with technology like the computer industry has, we would all be driving $25.00 cars that got 1,000 miles to the gallon." In response to Bill's comments, General Motors issued a press release stating: If GM had developed technology like Microsoft, we would all be driving cars with the following characteristics : 1. For no reason whatsoever, your car would crash........ Twice a day. 2. Every time they repainted the lines in the road, you would have to buy a new car. 3. Occasionally your car would die on the freeway for no reason. You would have to pull to the side of the road, close all of the windows, shut off the car, restart it, and reopen the windows before you could continue. For some reason you would simply accept this. 4. Occasionally, executing a maneuver such as a left turn would cause your car to shut down and refuse to restart, in which case you would have to reinstall the engine. 5. Macintosh would make a car that was powered by the sun, was reliable, five times as fast and twice as easy to drive - but would run on only five percent of the roads. 6. The oil, water temperature, and alternator warning lights would all be replaced by a single "This Car Has Performed An Illegal Operation" warning light. I love the next one!!! 7. The airbag system would ask "Are you sure?" before deploying. 8. Occasionally, for no reason whatsoever, your car would lock you out and refuse to let you in until you simultaneously lifted the door handle, turned the key and grabbed hold of the radio antenna.. 9. Every time a new car was introduced car buyers would have to learn how to drive all over again because none of the controls would operate in the same manner as the old car. 10. You'd have to press the "Start" button to turn the engine off.
You can allways trust teh IT department to be front runners in the unauthorised E-mails, maybe I should report him
Great email there - thanks Pebble. Tomorrow she and I will go back and get it. Not only will she get 20 % off but May 2 (TOMORROW!) starts their family and friends discount, so with my coupon added we get another 20% off so this dress is going to cost me around $40.
